Charter Amendments & Non-Material Changes
From time to time, a charter schoo may need to revise one or more component of its Charter or Contract. Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. ยง 59-40-60, proposed changes are classified as either material or non-material, and the type of change determines the review and approval process.
Material amendmentss require review by PCSD staff and approval by the PCSD Board of Trustees.
Non-material changes require review and approval by PCSD staff only.

Complete the form to submit your request. The form is used for both material amendments and non-material changes. material Amendments will be routed for Board approval, while non-material changes will be reviewed by PCSD staff.

Important Information
Material amendment requests must be submitted at least 60 days before the PCSD Board meeting at which the request will be considered.
School representatives are required to attend the Board meeting in person to present material amendment requests.
Changes requiring PCSD approval may not be implemented until all required approvals have been obtained.
