SCPCSD Announces 10-Year Renewals for Five Charter Schools
COLUMBIA, S.C. (MARCH 9, 2023) – The South Carolina Public Charter School District (SCPCSD) announced that five schools have been granted a 10-year charter renewal. The rigorous review process conducted by the SCPCSD included an analysis of each school’s academic, financial, governance, and operational performance, a site visit conducted by SCPCSD staff, and a review of all submitted materials up for renewal.
Riverwalk Academy, Bridges Preparatory School, GREEN Charter School Greenville, Pee Dee Math, Science & Technology Academy, and Midlands Middle College are the five schools that have been granted new 10-year charter renewals. This reflects measurable accomplishments for these schools and shows the hard work and dedication of their school boards, school leaders, teachers, staff, and parents are paying off in the form of high-quality schools.
