PowerSchool Summer 2023 Training

Summer is just around the corner, and we are excited to announce the dates for the annual District PowerSchool Summer Training. The SCPCSD and Cantey Tech have partnered to provide district PowerSchool staff with in-depth training for the 23-24 SY. A minimum of one building PowerSchool representative must attend. School Leaders are encouraged to attend as well.
WHERE: SCPCSD Office located at 1824 Barnwell St., Columbia, SC 29201
WHEN: Monday, July 10th – 13th, 2023
8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Sign-in opens at 8:15 am)

New PS Administrators will attend all four days. Returning PS Administrators will attend on the 11th through the 13th. Lunch will be provided each day.
WHAT to BRING:
- Day 1 – New PowerSchool Administrators should bring a new student enrollment packet, and your Laptops/Mobile Computing Devices.
- Days 2 through 4 – Your Board Approved Calendar and Bell Schedule as well as Laptops/Mobile Computing Devices. We will have hands-on labs, and these will be necessary for participation.
We will cover a wide range of topics to include, but not limited to: Education Regulations and Laws Impacting PowerSchool, PowerSchool Basics, Funding Reports, Schedule Best Practice, Attendance, Precoding and SCDE Data Collection.
